Our Mission Legal Advocates for Children & Youth advances the legal rights of minors in Santa Clara County, empowering them to lead healthy and productive lives. We listen to, advise, and advocate for our clients to ensure their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
Legal Advocates for Children & Youth (LACY) gives children and teens - each with their own unique challenges, needs, and circumstances - a voice when they need it most. In 2003/2004, LACY provided free legal representation, advocacy, and information to over 1200 minors in Santa Clara County, and educated several hundred minors, parents, service providers, and attorneys on legal issues relevant to minors.
