Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) is a nonprofit organization serving family violence victims and their children throughout Alameda County, California. Some of our services include legal representation, individual counseling, support groups, and community education.

  Please bring any police reports, protective orders, other family law orders you may have.

For Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Castro Valley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Sunol, Union City
Other Languages Spoken:  Spanish
Interpreters can be provided for: All other languages. Court provides interpreters in Alameda County.
Wheelchair Accessible: Y
Access for the deaf: Relay service and sign language interpreters available.
 
Other Requirements: For help, you must be:
  Survivor of Domestic Violence
 
Donations for services accepted.
 
 
Type of Help:
This group provides the following types of services based on your legal needs and its resources:
 
  Full Legal Representation
  Brief Advice- Advice and counsel.
  Other- Assistance with preparing court documents. Legal representation for one hearing.
