Legal Services of Northern California - Chico Office (serves Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Plumas, and Tehama Counties)
Regional Office assists low income people with housing (including unlawful detainers, 3-day and 30-day notices, habitability problems, lockouts and utility issues) and public benefits (including CalWorks, TANF, Food Stamps, Medi-Cal and CMSP). In addition we have a senior program that assists with these issues plus consumer problems and estate planning. We also have special programs that include our Pro Per Orders Clinic (in-court assistance to self-represented litigants requesting Family Law orders including restraining orders, visitation and child support orders) and Guardianship clinics (for relative caregivers seeking guardianship of children).; mediation on day of trial in unlawful detainer and small claims court cases. |
