Learning Rights Law Center
The Mission of Learning Rights Law Center is to ensure students have equitable access to the public education system in Southern California. To further this mission Learning Rights is focusing its efforts on the following low-income students in the K-12 system:
- Students with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties;
- Students at risk of or involved in the child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems; and
- Students not accessing the public school system because of language, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or homelessness.
Learning Rights Law Center (LRLC) provides the following free services to families and students with education issues: brief legal services, legal representation, and parent advocacy training. LRLC clients must meet low-income eligibility requirements in order to qualify for free legal services. |
